Embedding Equity into Policy Design

This presentation will explore how equity can be explicitly conceptualized in the policy design stage of the policy process. This approach shifts equity from the traditional focus on outcomes toward an explicit emphasis on equity as an antecedent. This presentation is based on a paper in progress that explores connections between syntactic components and rule typologies based on the Institutional Grammar and equity.
