This online training provides an introduction to conducting institutional analysis with the Institutional Grammar. Through asynchronous lectures, participants will receive an overview of institutional analysis, the Institutional Analysis and Development (IAD) framework, and how text analytics and analysis of policy design embeds within institutional analysis.
Additionally, participants will receive an overview of an updated version of the Institutional Grammar, called the Institutional Grammar 2.0, and learn about ways to analyze institutional information.
Through weekly live coding sessions, participants will get hands-on coding guidance and advice on analyzing institutional information. Weekly live sessions are taught by different training leaders.
