Amineh Ghorbani

Amineh Ghorbani is an associate professor in the Faculty of Technology, Policy, and Management at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. She co-developed the Institutional Network Analysis, a framework for studying institutional interdependency as well as identifying institutional voids and points of conflict. She is also a proponent of institutional modelling, which involves applying agent-based and simulation modeling to study institutional behavior and dynamics. Her research interests center on collective action around climate change.

She received her Ph.D. in Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulation from Delft University of Technology in 2013, and her work has appeared in Energy Research and Social Science, Environmental Science and Policy, and the International Journal of the Commons, among other publications.

Amineh is an animal lover. By her own admission, she also has a Ph.D. in dogs. She has a puppy that, if all goes well, will be accompanying her to work in the not-too-distant future.
